5. How to Access Data

This section outlines where to find the data you are approved to access within the ADRF.

💡 The ADRF User Guide, which is available to ADRF users in Secure PASS in their project workspaces, contains: - Detailed guidance on how to find and work with sensitive data in the ADRF. - Video tutorials - Redshift Query Guide for structured data users

Data Storage Overview

The ADRF uses two primary types of storage:

  • File-based data: Files such as CSVs and Stata files are stored in the read-only G: drive.

  • Relational (database) data: Relational data, housed in AWS Redshift, is accessible via DBeaver or by connecting through a statistical package (like R or Python).

Important Note on External Data and Code: Importing external data and code into the ADRF is strictly restricted to Coleridge staff to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access or data leaks. There is no direct method for users to upload files from their personal systems. For assistance with importing code or data, please contact support@coleridge.us. For detailed instructions on querying and accessing data, please refer to the ADRF User Guide located in the secure data enclave.
